GeoSafari Laptop Card Set - Ages 8 & Up

Product Description

Keep the fun going for your geosafari Laptop. Expand your learning adventures with 63 two-sided cards, giving advanced students more than 126 brain-building lessons. For use with geosafari Laptop, sold separately.

After reading the disappointment of the 1 star reviewer I checked on another website selling this product and this is what they said: "The lessons here are for children ages 8 and up. With this expansion pack you can expand your ages 3-7 edition Geosafari Laptop!"

It is confusing as Geosafari sells two laptops and this expansion pack appears to be for the 3-7 yr old machine, expanding the younger version to the older age group.

Buyer beware.

This was advertised as a supplemental kit, one for the geosafari laptop.
But it is the same exact card set as the one that comes with the unit, though neither product gave that information. Not only was it unneeded, but I'm not sure I would have bought the geo safari laptop if I had known there were only the cards that came with it available. Now I'm out the shipping costs and had to give a present only half as good as I thought. Instead of 126 cards, I only have 63 usable ones.
And some of the cards (ages 8 and up) could have easily been answered by a 4 yr old. The endangered animal card is just one example - pick the tiger? Please!
A very unhappy customer, esp as it's my first time buying from Amazon. Doubt I'm coming back, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Educational Insights GeoSafari Laptop Card Set-Ages 3-7

Product Description

More fun for your GeoSafari Laptop! Expand your child's learning fun with 63 colorful, two-sided GeoSafari cards. There are 126 lessons in all, specially designed for younger students. For use with the GeoSafari Laptop, sold separately.

Many of the cards were confusing. Cards easily bent, storage not great. No system to what is being presented and geo safari "computer" is difficult for little ones to use. The whole system was a real disappointment.

This product has a great educational value. The cards are great, I wish there was stuff like this when I was growing up. My five year old loves this. The technology is relatively old, given the more advanced products, CD-roms, etc on the market. The biggest strenght of this product is the educational cards that are designed by education professionals. Recommended.
