An exciting game that everyone's getting hooked on, LCR is simple and fast-paced. Provides hours of fun for the whole family. To start the game, you need three LCR cubes, at least three players, and three chips for each player. Coins can be used in place of chips for additional players. After determining which player starts the game, the first player rolls the three cubes. The number of L's, C's, R's or Dots rolled dictate where the player's chips go.

The number of L's indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the left. The number of R's indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the right. The number of C's indicates the amount of chips to be placed in the center pot. The Dots are neutral and players neither pass nor place chips in the pot for any Dots rolled.

When a player has any 1 or 2 chips, he rolls only 1 or 2 cubes. If a player has no chips, he is still in the game, but passes the cubes to the next player. The last player with chips is the winner. Includes three dice and 24 chips. For 3 or more players.

First played LCR in AZ last summer and I was hooked. It is fun, fast-moving and you can play for the chips that come with the game or play for money. It's easy to play; my 92-yr. old mother enjoys it, too. I have purchased several for friends through Amazon. They're hooked, too. It's a learning tool for kids, as it teaches them directions, such as "left", "right" and "center".

This is a very fun game. It is fun with your family, including the kids, and it is fun with friends while having a few brews. It is a fast moving game and actually kids over seven would have a great time playing it. My family sometimes plays for quarters and I have heard some play for higher stakes. I enjoy games of all kinds and this is not a "game." If you would like to try a party game, try apples to apples or time's up. For a real good time - try settlers of catan.

Seems to be a durable fun toy which teaches colors and the idea of what drills do. Valuable eye hand coordination - I had fun with it also.


My daughter really can't sit still for much but she seems to be able to for this one. It's an all around great learning toy. It's creative and great for fine motor skills, hand eye coordination etc. It's like an art project without the mess and a game you can play too. The pieces are big enough for little hands yet still a challenge within reach. There are many different ways to play and use this toy, your child can lead you! And all that practice with tools! Girls don't let that deter you this toy is great for little girls too.


I bought this toy for my 5-year-old. He has autism and loves tool type of toys. As soon as we opened this he got a HUGE grin on his face. Totally a hit with him!

My 3-year-old daughter was DYING for a turn, and she loves to use it as well. Surprisingly, even my 19-month-old daughter can join in with her older siblings...she puts the pegs into the holes for them.

It's great for their fine motor skills...getting the drill bit in the right spot is a little tricky for small hands. There are also hand tools which are good practice for the little ones, too. I also use it to practice turn-taking with the 3 and 5 year olds...each gets to drill a certain number of pegs and then has to trade the drill with their sibling.

And it is FUN! My kids like just filling up the whole board, but I think after we've had it for awhile (it's only been 2 weeks) we can start using some of the patterns. Great idea to extend the life of the toy.

This toy seems really durable, has lots of play options (pattern or freestyle, different drill bits, power tool or hand tool), is educational AND fun. And rarely do I find a toy that all three of my kids can sit around at the same time and play with...but they do with this one! Highly recommended!


This was purchased for a 3 yr. old boy. He loves the drill and quickly put every screw in place. The 5 yr. old takes it a step further and makes 'designs' - or patterns. The two kids even collaborate on the designs. The do not use the colored pictures.... maybe if the pages fit over or under the board easily... but plenty of fun without their pages.


Grandson age:2 1/2 couldn't wait to play with it as his Christmas gift.
Cousin age:5 1/2 loved playing with it also!! Keep thye batteries handy!

This play set is wonderful! It is easy to use and entertaining for preschool to early school age children. While kids are having fun playing, they are improving their fine motor skills and patterning. They can be creative with their own designs or learn to follow one of the included pattern cards. The set includes 3 bits for use with the drill or screwdriver handle and 5 different colored large screws. The drill has forward, off, and reverse settings and makes drill sounds at a reasonable volume. Overall a great buy.
