I bought these stamps for my kindergarten classroom. I have gone through a number of other type of stamps that don't hold up. These are the best. They are solid plastic so they can't be broken. On a rare occastion, the rubber part might come off.
The set of these stamps would be great for a family or classroom.

This is a great educational toy for toddlers. My 3 year old loves it and is learning his numbers with it on the fridge.


I bought this Magnetic Alphabet and Numbers because I liked the board that it shows to put the magnets on but it does not come with the set? the way it is showing in the picture it looks like the board comes with it


Good way to get your baby familiar with the shapes of letters and numbers. My baby likes the different colors.


First set I've given a child that didn't have the magnets fall out of the letters. We've had it over a year and all are still intact.

We (3 yr old) and I love this toy. It is very bright and colorful, takes her no time to put together and it is really long which she enjoys. It is a fun puzzle to learn your ABC's. I'd recommend this puzzle. Great learning tool.


this puzzle is great for kids just learning their ABC's. the kids i nanny for picked up the order of the alphabet in just a week or two. however, they ARE toddlers and are a little rough on toys...i ended up having to hot glue a lot of the corners back together, they fell apart very easily.


There is another Melissa and Doug train puzzle that some customers were frustrated with because it had a picture of a fox for the letter X. This version has words on each piece in addition to the picture. The "X" piece does have a fox on it, but the fox is having an X-ray taken, and the word on the piece is X-ray.

My daughter just got this puzzle, and she's only 2, so she needed help to get the letters in the right order. She did have fun using it as a "balance beam" after it was all put together!

I think she's going to have fun with this puzzle for a long time, and it will definitely help her to learn to put letters in the right order. We love Melissa and Doug toys!

I baught this toy for my son because he loves stamps and he is learning his abc's. He thinks that it's just alot of fun but little does he know he is learning.


This product represents a mom's failed attempt to improve her 5 yr. old son's interest in his developing literacy skills. He pays it no attention. I hope in a year or so he'll find some use for it. Wishful thinking on my part.


The actual letters and ink pad were smaller than I expected but the overall quality of the product is very good.


The stamps are good quality, easy to hold and comes in a sturdy storage box (no lid). The stamped letters are clear and the font is easy to read. Toddlers enjoy stamping, pre-schoolers enjoy creating letters and words and the older kids cards, etc. Kids can also trace stamped letters adding to its educational value. The only drawback is it can be difficult to get the stamps out of the box so it really challenges those fine motor skills.


I gave these to a friend as a gift, so I have not used them myslef, but I have recieved many letters written with the stamps!

They are a great size and the box it all comes in looks very impressive. I reccomend this as a gift for anyone who likes arts and crafts.

Melissa & Doug See-Inside Alphabet Peg Puzzle

I bought this because my 22m likes puzzles and has good hand-eye coordination. He has showed an interest in letters and numbers recently. I tried to find something that was nicer but couldn't. I would preferred a sturdier puzzle with more vibrant colors and somewhat bigger letters. Also, I think the graphics chosen to complement some of the letters are odd. I don't really expect much from M&D products and this lived up to my expectation: it gets the job done.

That being said it has helped his letter learning. We often play with it in companion to an alphabet book.


Love the idea of a great puzzle, especially one that teaches the alphabet at the same time. Just not sure about the choices for the pictures under the letters that correspond (i.e. you pick up the letter "j" and there is a jump rope-- "i" and there is an insect to which my daughter yells "bug!")
I would still recommend this puzzle though.


I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son (17 mos at the time) and thought maybe it would be a little difficult for him at that time but we gave it a whirl. By the end of January he knew all of the letters and their respective places. We also reinforced "B is for Basket" "H is for House" etc. and he really understands the objects underneath. Now, less than 2 months after starting this, he is starting to show me letters in all the different places we find them, his Car's cup said "DOC HUDSON" and he could tell me where each letter was, along with his Elmo slippers that said Elmo. This puzzle teaches fine motor skills (the pieces aren't the easiest for little ones) and is a lot of fun to learn the letters of the alphabet, I can't speak highly enough of this puzzle.


We bought a few of these puzzles, one for our son and the others as gifts. They aren't the highest quality, so I'm not sure how well they are going to hold up. It's not solid wood like I hoped, so I think that after being chewed on a little bit it's going to fall apart. But for the price you can't go wrong. However I won't order another one unless it states that it's solid wood since they hold up the best.


I bought this for my 2 year old who has done other similar puzzles, but this one was almost impossible because the letters are not cut out in the correct shape (more like a cicle/square). So, this is way too difficult for her to do. I put it into storage until she is older. I would not buy this alphabet puzzle, but one that has the letters actually cut out and matching the background.


This is a well built toy that my son loves to play with. I love that underneath has pictures of words associated with the letter. And the pegs make it perfect for my 21 month old's little fingers to grab
