Remarkable Magnetic Wipe - off Boards - 18" x 24" Magnetic Board

Product Description

Our top-quality magnetic white boards are truly remarkable! Sturdy metal boards provide classroom durability. Use them with our magnetic letters, numbers, and shapes or with dry-erase markers (sold separately) for math, reading, and art activities.

This is an excellent product and will be very suitable to use as an educational tool in my nature center.


I bought this whiteboard to use in the kitchen and it is great for that application. When the board arrived it was set up to work in the 24 inch wide by 18 inch high orientation - Basically in landscape mode.

I wanted to install it in a portrait or vertical orientation. To do so I needed to remove 4 screws to take the hangers off the long side and put them back onto the short side. This took about 2 minutes to achieve and they fitted just like they did when shipped - The board is obviously designed to do this.

The shelf for the markers and eraser is normally the length of the 24 inch side. It comes with 2 plastic end caps. This meant that I could grab my hack saw, trim it down to fit the 18 inch side and then put the end caps back on. This took all of 4 minutes to do.

Overall changing the orientation was a 10 minute job including getting the tools to do it and it mounts perfectly on the wall that way.

The quality of the board material is very good and magnets stick to it well. Overall it reminds me of the commercial quality whiteboard I have in my office at work.

Very satisfied with this product and would recommend it without hesitation.



Our 5th grade daughter has been writing and rewriting her spelling and vocabulary words on this. She's getting A's! She also makes to do lists on it and so she's been cleaning a lot more (so she can wipe off her tasks). What a great "toy" for her! (and me!)

Educational Insights Pupil Magnetic Board-14inx11in

This dual-purpose coated metal board is perfect for use with magnetic letters, numbers, and shapes or with wipe-off markers for math, reading, and art activities. Rope attached to individual-sized board allows easy carrying or hanging. (14'W x 11'H)

This product is good quality and works for what it is supposed to do. It is in fact magnetic, it is sturdy and my daughter (19 months) loves it. She can carry it by the rope; which I agree is strangely designed to take up space on the board, a top mounted rope would be just as good, if not better. However, the board is not double sided, which would have been nice. It is about the same size as a standard 'college' marker board and in my opinion, if you can get a magnetic 'college' marker/message board for half the price, why would you spend this money? A good product, but if I were doing it again, I would get a less expensive board. The other educational insights products make a great addition to this board.


Love the magnetic board for traveling. The shapes are fun and include a good variety: arcs, bars, equilateral and scalene triangles, half circles, as well as your usuals. The weird rope idea is poorly done, though. A rope handle mounted at the top would have been much more useful and wouldn't take away board space. The holes in the board aren't terribly annoying if you're using letters or numbers, but it can get in the way when using shapes.
