This was a great buy,the shipping was fast and the sea monkeys grow! you have to be careful where you put them,because they may get knocked over!mine didn't, but in my 4th grade class they did,so put them in a good are.


If you're interested in seeing how your kid will take care of these timeless pets definately go with this kit. It is the bare bones basic, compllete with water purifier, eggs, food and spoon, no more, no less. if your kid responds well to this one, then you'll want to upgrade to the more nifty kits.

one word of caution, if your kid has his/her heart set on a red tank, don't hold your breath. I ordered from this listing for the red tank and got a blue one instead. i'm grateful that my son was able to be more flexible when it showed up, after all it was the monkeys that he wanted more than anything.


it's great and all but there are two flaws that are VERY important:

1. this kit only has the basics, there are others which come with teeny little transportation tanks (sea-bubble pendant, wrist aquarium, etc..) with the same tank model and things (plus they come in kool colors; mine's pink!) this doesn't COME with any teeny transport tanks.

2. this (like every sea monkey tank that looks like this) is QUITE ill-balanced. be careful!

These are too cute, strange but cute. They look a little prehistoric but it is amazing how these creatures hatch from dried eggs. I am a little disappointed in the fact out of hundreds of eggs only 11 hatched and 8 have died. This was given to my daughter at Christmas and we opened it on New Year's Day. It is now the middle of April, so we have 3 still living (knock on wood). They are perfect pets, not much maintenance.


I purchased this kit to use in my first grade classroom. My students were so excited and began keeping journals when we could first see the sea monkeys. The hatchlings were very tiny but visible. One week later they had all vanished. We are very disappointed!

I live alone and I can't really have a cat or a dog because they demand a lot of attention and care. To be honest I can't even take care of myself properly LOL what to say of a living creature friend. So I decided to listen to some friends and buy sea monkeys. They are fun. If you follow the instructions in a few days you have some living ones swimming in the bowl. It's a nice way to have a little life in your apartment. And trust me, they are easy to take care of. Food once, maybe twice a week. Never change the water....that's it....Easier than flowers...And you always have the feeling you have something to watch.

Good for kids too, to teach them to have responsability when taking care of something. It's fun!


This was a gift for a young girl who enjoys them very much. In fact, I still have my own Sea Monkey Ocean Zoo from 20 years ago... and they are STILL thriving!


I bought sea monkeys for my younger cousin last christmas and he loved them. Just the fact that he is the one that read the directions and "did it all by himself" was realy neat. He realy enjoyed watching them hatch and grow, and remembering to feed them. All in all these pets are great for younger kids who would like to have a little responsibility but without giving parents an animal to have to look after


Brings back memories! We have enjoyed watching these each day...and amazing how big they get each day.

well I'm 15 and i wanted a pet so i pick sea monkeys and i got to say there really cool. I just don't like that in this package only came with the 3 bags and i tank. I was hoping for the bubble tool and the plasma too, But everything is good. I also have a question how did i came with around 20 monkeys and now i got around 7 still swimming why is that? but everything good.


Sea monkeys are fun to see swim around but are boring for younger kids because they do not do anything and even though they are "guarenteed" to live up to 2 years, they never live longer than a month. Yet, I LOVE these guys. It gives kids a sense of ownership.


It is day 9 now. They are starting to get their tails. I only got the basic items but I ordered more accesories frow the Sea-Monkey official website, (...). These brine shrimp are a great way to communicate with Science through ways of having fun. This product is a great find.


Th toy was a gift from a certificate to be used as an educational experience for my 6 YO son. The instructions were detailed and the list of requirements were many. So as a parent, my work was cut out for me.

As the monkeys begin to hatch there is the delicate daily responsibility to aeriate the water by means of pouring the liquid back and forth between clean containers. So that step can be a little unnerving with little one.

However, the kit was complete and offers plenty of other options (for a price) and a guarantee to produce sea monkeys.



seamonkeys are great. i got them for my friend then my other friend wanted them!i lost the food and they all died but just now i saw 2 alive. MAGICAL! They lived with no food execpt the junk on the bottom for 3 or 4 months!these are great, i recommend them a lot.


I recived this set for christmas, and just today two of my adult sea monkeys died. i fished them out with my aqua leash and held them in my hand. they feel like a Sticky Hand!!!!!!! and the manufactuer says they are real pets, but to me,they are just swimming gobs of Sticky Hand. still, i'm impressed about their "gooey Cutness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!""""

We have purchased Melissa & Doug puzzles before so we knew they are good quality and our grandchildren would enjoy them. They are well made and the wood box the pieces come makes it easy to take on a trip
or store between visits. These puzzles are great for children just beginning to learn how to piece together
one since their finished size isn't all that big and the pieces are big enough for small hands. I would definitely
recommend them for pre-schoolers.


My daughter is obsessed with puzzles. We bought this for a lot of children as Christmas presents for using in the car. They all love it. It is a great idea. The puzzle is small, and can be kept on the lap. There are four different puzzles inside, with coding on the back, as to which puzzle it belongs to.

My only complaint is the wood box, which holds the pieces, is hard for my two year old to slide open and closed. I am sure she will be able to open it soon, and then will truly be able to play with this without assistance.
