My daughter really enjoys her Love Monkey that I purchased for her Valentine gift. It is a huggable toy that she takes to bed with her every night.
The Webkinz Love Monkey was one of the most adorable Webkinz that I have gotten for my child...a large size as Webkinz run and quite soft.
I'm not entirely convinced that words can do this project justice. What could be better than the ultimate combination of natures two greatest gifts? Love and Monkeys. Well, I think this product really speaks for itself with regards to how magical it is, so I'm not going to attempt to speak for it on anything past a practical level. I will try my best to give this product of mythical awesomeness justice.
The craftsmanship: This product goes well above and beyond what is required out of a normal stuffed animal, but then again, this is no ordinary stuffed animal. The seems on the love monkey are all doubled stitched so as to maximize the its durability. This stuffed animal can take anything you throw at it; including, but not limited to, extreme amounts of tension normal to the torso, large amounts of torque, and shocks which may be caused by abruptly pulling outwards on any of the limbs. As a personal anecdote, I once went climbing in Malaysia when i slipped of a cliff and my rope snapped. Luckily i had my love money in hand, its head got caught in a small crevasse as I was falling and managed to support my weight as I dangled from one of its arms until I could be rescued. Much like the new macbook pros, the new love monkey has almost no seems visible to the naked eye. In fact, the love monkey is carved out of a solid block of love cloth. Enough about the craftsmanship.
The design: Whoever came up with pattern that is printed on the love money is a true artistic genius. The placement of the hearts is almost of fractal beauty. I have found myself many times staring at the detailed design jumping from one heart to another in an endless cycle (much like one moves through articles on wikipedia) and only after hours do I stop myself.
The meaning: Buy. This. Animal. There is nothing on earth that says "Hey, I love you" quite like a stuffed Love Monkey. Flowers are nice to look at, but they wilt in a week, chocolates make you fat, and cards are just kind of lame in general. None of these are the case with the love monkey. Buying this is a nice subtle way of saying "You mean so much to me that I want you to have the time of your life for the next YEAR playing awesome arcade style games on webkinz".
Honestly folks, this one kind of sells itself. Get her the love monkey, I can assure you that you wont regret it.
