shapes Up is an exciting, fast-paced strategy game. Two to four players fit shapes together, like a tangram, to cover their boards and form multi-colored squares. Roll the die and choose the piece it shows you. Think carefully, but think fast! Adding to the chaotic fun, when players roll a hand symbol they take a piece from another player's board. The player whose board is filled first and yells, "shapes Up" wins! Includes 4 game boards, 32 large triangles, 32 small triangles, 16 squares, shape tray, die and timer.
Excellent game. Fast paced but you can slow it down if you like. Really develops the visual connection with math. Love it!
My 10 year old loves this game. Any kids and/or adults who play like it also. Even my 3 year old can play on a team with someone. The goal is to fill you board with shapes, but there are a few rules that make it intriguing. It is fun and gets a little competitive as the game progresses. Excellent for teaching basic geometry skills. I hope this game becomes available again, as I would like to buy more as gifts.
