LOVE IT!!! My son received this in his Easter basket. He plays with it for hours. Alone or challenges family. Even grandpa loves taking a shot. The size and durability is wonderful for travel and stimulation during long waiting periods at the doctor's office or errands. Most importantly it's educationally stimulating without your child knowing. It would be nice to have additional books for more challenges. But for this price, no complaints. You will not regret this purchase. I am purchasing two more for gifts.
My 7-year old son was hooked on it the first week after he got it for Christmas, but after that it lost its challange. The good thing is that my younger son will get good use out of it, too.
This toy is great for the child (or adult!) who is interested in brain teasing toys. Our 7 year old boys loves to "play" with this toy. Adults who have visited over the Christmas holiday have dabbled with this toy too!
My 6 year old is extremely good at puzzles and usually works on the 550 piece ones by herself. This has kept her busy thinking for days. Thank you to St. Nick who brought it to her! Compact and very portable too. Absolutely love it...a great buy for the money! Definately going to buy them as gifts for other kids.
This was a gift for my daughter on her 11th birthday. All four of my children want to play with it--it has progressing levels of difficulty, so my youngest (5) and my oldest (13) can both feel challenged and entertained.
The pieces are brightly colored and in interesting configurations. It will provide focused "quiet time" for hours!
The snap-tight case is a real plus--makes the game very portable.
I put this in my son's stocking and since it has been opened, both my 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter have been fighting over it. I will get another one for my daughter. They literally played with that thing all day yesterday. It is a great way to challenge logic and spatial realtionships. I even joined in on the fun. Perfect for an airplane or for any travel..it is small and will keep them busy. HIGHLY recommended!
I really like three dimensional puzzles and this one is fun. I actually bought it for my 8 year-old son but I did all the puzzles as well.
It has a variety of difficulty levels that have you set the game pieces up with a few remaining. Those 'leftover' pieces have to fit in to make a complete pyramid. The beginning levels only have one or two pieces left over and the advanced levels have 5 or 6. My son has not made it through all the levels but has enjoyed watching me finish them.
It is fun to hold, works well, easy to travel with and can work with a variety of age levels. All the pieces fit inside the box.
It would be nice to have more puzzles in the book since once you've done them, it's not as much fun to go back to the same ones again.
This is great for spacial thinking as you have to think of how the pieces will work together to fill the holes left in each puzzle as well as how to place all the pieces as they are pictured in the puzzle book.
This is a fun game for kids. It has different levels of play, so even preschoolers like my four-year-old son can play. My first grader brings it to school, and it's always a hit with her classmates. This is intended for solo play, so if you have more kids at home you may want to buy more than one. It's great for road trips as well. Highly recommend!
My son really like logic and puzzles, but we weren't expecting much when we bought this, as we had been disappointed with a lot of the games out there. Well, this game is great. Fun, challenging and portable, a wonderful present. I like it as much as my son does. I slip it into my purse and we play it at restaurants when waiting to get a meal, on airplanes and car trips, etc. A very good value, as well.
