I was very excited to get this for my 3.5 year old son. The container is very cute unfortunately the Sea-Monkeys never hatched. Maybe something we did or didn't do so I wouldn't hold it against the product.
I have yet to add the instant life to my tank, but I feel that a review is already in order...
First off, I have to say that the delivery was fast, and I was happy with that. It shipped Friday, and I received it by Monday (this was excellent because I couldn't waste any time...my project for a college biology class is on sea monkeys!)
When I opened up the package, I was disappointed to find that the little glow in the dark ship had broken off the bottom. This product also didn't come with everything listed. The aqua-leash was listed as a product feature, but it didn't come with the kit.
So far, I have no problems with leaks, so that is a good sign. The last time (also my first) time I kept sea monkeys as a little girl, I experienced a leaking problem. So, the tank appears to be durable enough.
Overall, I would say this little aquarium had its faults, but it appears to be sturdy enough to last. Though be careful, the lid is a little loose, and can easily be knocked off. It's best to put the tank in a higher place, where it cannot be accidentally knocked over.
