My almost 2-year-old daughter just received this for her birthday. It's great for her to learn more about different fruits, counting, colors, and cutting! She's not so coordinated with the cutting part yet but she tries. The fruit pieces are great quality and see them NOT chipping or the paint wearing off. I got her the sushi set for her upcoming birthday so we can't wait to try that out!

My granddaughters just enjoy playing 'restaurant'and this was a great addition to their 'menu'. They love to pretend that they own and work at their restaurant and grandma enjoys being their 'customer'. Its wood construction is much better than that 'plastic' stuff.
Santa brought this to my two year daughter. She has really enjoyed playing with it and has learned to cut the fruit. I am a BIG Melissa & Doug fan and have bought many of the wood food items. This wood food toy is great quality, loads of fun and great learning tool. My daughter has a "little kitchen" full wood food. higly reccommend!
I use this product for my own children and for my daycare. It is one of their favorite toys. They love to cut the food and stick it back together. This toy is not only a fun toy to play with, but teaches mathematic concepts (fractions). My only complaint is that the velcro is not quite as "sticky" as it could be.
Love this toy. I bought it for my 2 year old for his bday. He goes to a montessori school and they have the same toys there. we are all about practical learning and fun.
My son (age 2) loves to "cut" and loves fruit, so this product was a natural choice. He has had it for more than a month and still pulls it out to play daily. I also like that it's more durable than lots of play food so our dog can't chew it up. I plan to get more Melissa and Doug food for him in the future!
Excellent toy for the toddler in your life and a fun one for Mom and Dad to join in. My Grandson just loves using the "knife" to cut the fruit and the crunch it makes as he is cutting just adds to the fun.
