A nice little game that is a pleasant alternative to electronic games. It can be used to teach about math or percentages to younger children, yet adults can enjoy it as a challenge also. The only thing that the children can loose are the dice and they are easy enough to replace.
The game has a 'period' appearance and could be part of a 'pirate' activity that will allow for some teaching of math or history if you are home schooling.

the game brings out fun with any group. A little math and a little fun, how cool is that. All ages can play at the same time. Just roll the dice and knock down your numbers untill no more numbers can go down, add the remainder left standing. Person with the lowest score is the winner.
This deceptively simple game is addictive. I gave it to my husband for Christmas, but our 7 year old also loves playing. My only complaint would be that the dice are difficult to read because the dots are not well painted.
After seeing a shut the box game at my friend's house, I purchased this Melissa & Doug version for my son's 6th birthday. We love playing this game; he thoroughly enjoys it and asks to play it. We have only had it for a few weeks, but it seems like it will be durable enough. This a great coffee table game for adults, as well as beginning "adders"!
